James Marwick and Robert Mills of St John's Chambers discuss the application of the doctrine of material contribution in clinical negligence claims following the recent key High Court cases from 2021 and 2022 including Thorley, Davies and Dalchow.
After a re-cap of the core principles, Rob and James will seek to draw out the core conclusions from recent cases and assess the viability of the doctrine in the context of indivisible injuries.
